Project Overview
This project is a mashup of both a graphic design, and an advertising campaign project. This project was built almost entirely within Adobe Illustrator, the only aspect that wasn't was the background, which was constructed in Photoshop. For this project, I wanted to focus on Insight Entrerprises, a technology company based where I am located, and come up with an event that would tie very well into their company image, design, and would serve them a direct purpose.
My Process
For this project I had two distinct goals; apply my design philosophies to the company's image, and have this event be something that could truly be of use to the company. I spent the first segment of this project looking into Insight; their website, designs, what they promote, and more. I had noticed they tend to lean into this gradient heavy focused design. Afterwards, I came to this idea of an employee focused innovation day, with the goal of raising employee morale and creativity. Using these, I had formed multiple roughdrafts, leading to the finished design seen below. Through this process I allowed myself a certain creative freedom, while giving myself realistic constraints I could see myself being tasked with if this project were handed to me. I made sure to stick with brand colors and design principals I had noticed throughout scouring their website, creating a finished design that adheres to the brand's image while being unique at the same time.
